Hello to all our amazing friends out there...

We're happy to announce our re-opening for 2012!

As always we appreciate your encouragement and support over the years. We've made many friendships out here on the farm and some magical things have taken place; old friends have reunited, grandparents have discovered their youth, couples have met while "lost" in the corn maze, and the stories go on and on.... We're happy to share these moments with you and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon... because we've been missing this as much as you have.

As always, our upcoming maze theme is "top secret" don't even think about asking...because we're not going to tell ya anyway! Ha ha!

Scrappy Completes his Journey Helping Others!

Pictured in the photo: Robert Lefief, Scrappy's designer, hands over Scrappy to his new owner Bryan Deering, along with his son Ian. Scrappy has finally completed his journey, finding a permanent home at D&W Salvage in Bad Axe, after Bryan's wife Pamela secretly bid on Scrappy as a surprise Christmas gift for her husband. Thanks to the Deering family, he'll be standing tall guarding the scrap yard gates starting this coming spring! Thanks again to everyone who donated food and funds to "Keep Scrappy Happy"!. By the end of the 2009 season, Scrappy earned 272 food items to benefit local food pantries, $350 in cash for the Thumb Breadbasket and $1,000 for the National Marfan Foundnation! KEEP SCRAPPY HAPPY! - Give Food!

Have you seen SCRAPPY, the scrap-iron dinosaur? He's a 22 ft. T-Rex and he's making our farm his home for a while. If you haven't been here yet this season, then come on down and participate in our food drive to prevent our Thumb-area food pantries from becoming extinct! Keep Scrappy's bowl filled with your nonperishable food donations and he'll be a happy dino! We're also accepting cash donations at the Chicken Shack and 100% of every dollar goes to buy food and household necessities for the Thumb Breadbasket! And if you're looking for a FUN way to give, you can throw a friend or family member in CoRn JaiL for a $10 donation! Don't forget to bring your camera, because Scrappy is an amaizing site to see, and when he's fattened up near the end of October, he'll be auctioned on eBay and 50% of the proceeds will go to the buyer's favorite charity!
